Newark, DE Position Overview We are seeking an energetic, professional, and outgoing Leasing Specialist to join our student housing team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is motivated by leasing goals and creating a positive resident experience. The Leasing Specialist will be responsible for guiding prospective residents and their families through the leasing process, conducting property tours, following up with leads, assisting current residents, and supporting community events and day-to-day leasing operations. Responsibilities Respond to leasing inquiries by phone, email, text, and in person Conduct engaging property and apartment tours Follow up consistently with prospective residents and guarantors Assist applicants throughout the application and leasing process Work toward individual and property leasing goals Maintain accurate prospect and resident information Provide excellent customer service to residents, parents, and prospective residents Assist with resident events, marketing initiatives, and outreach Help create social media and promotional content when needed Maintain a professional, welcoming Leasing Office Assist with move-ins, renewals, roommate questions, and general resident needs Work closely with the Property Manager and management team Qualifications Strong communication and customer service skills Friendly, confident, and professional personality Highly organized with strong attention to detail Comfortable speaking with prospective residents and parents Ability to multitask in a busy student-housing environment Comfortable using email, computer systems, social media, and online leasing platforms Dependable and able to work independently as well as part of a team Previous leasing, sales, hospitality, property management, or customer service experience preferred Student housing experience is a plus, but not required What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is personable, motivated, dependable, and sales-driven .
