Position Summary:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Leasing Specialist to join our team to assist in leasing a portfolio of properties. The ideal candidate will have experience in leasing, sales, or hospitality and a passion for helping prospective residents find their perfect home. You'll be the first point of contact and a key driver in maintaining high occupancy through effective leasing and marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and engage with prospective residents in a professional and welcoming manner. Conduct property tours and highlight community features and available units. Respond to phone, email, and walk-in inquiries regarding leasing and availability. Process lease applications, perform background checks, and ensure all documentation is complete. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the property's pricing, specials, and availability. Assist with planning and executing marketing and resident retention initiatives. Monitor market conditions and assist in competitive analysis. Use property management software (e.g., RealPage) to enter and track leasing data. Support the Property Manager and team with day-to-day leasing operations and resident relations.

Qualifications:

1+ year of leasing, sales, or customer service experience (property management preferred). Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to work weekends and a flexible schedule as needed. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and leasing/property management software. High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework preferred.
