Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Apartment Leasing Consultant to join our vibrant property management team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for prospective residents, guiding them through the leasing process with enthusiasm and professionalism. Your expertise in property leasing, legal administrative procedures, and client communication will help foster positive relationships and ensure a smooth rental experience. Responsibilities Greet prospective tenants warmly and provide comprehensive tours of available apartments, highlighting features and community amenities. Manage lease or rental agreement processes accurately, including application screening, credit checks, and document preparation using property management tools such as Yardi or OneSite. Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and landlord-tenant laws during all leasing activities. Maintain detailed records of client interactions, lease agreements, and property availability through data entry and filing systems. Collaborate with property management teams to coordinate property maintenance requests and facilitate smooth move-ins and move-outs. Upsell additional services or unit upgrades to prospective tenants to maximize occupancy and revenue. Handle conflict management professionally by addressing tenant concerns promptly while adhering to legal guidelines like Section 8 and LIHTC programs. Requirements Proven experience in property leasing, real estate administration, or related customer service roles within property management companies. Familiarity with property management software such as Yardi, OneSite, or similar tools. Strong knowledge of landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations, and Section 8 housing programs. Excellent communication skills with professional phone etiquette and client relationship management abilities. Ability to manage contracts, lease agreements, and rental documentation accurately while maintaining confidentiality. Experience with conflict resolution, negotiation, and upselling techniques to enhance tenant satisfaction and retention. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and reporting. $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
