//tcd.semtribe.com/ We are looking for a Leasing Agent to help build strong relationships with the Tribal Community by providing excellent member care balanced with the application of housing policy. Comply with Housing Services System requirements to address Tribal Member issues, including conducting monthly home assessments and coordinating with the appropriate resources to resolve any issues. The staff schedule is full-time Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm. In case of extreme weather, such as hurricanes, flooding, etc the Housing department is considered essential staff so the team may need to change the work schedule to accommodate evenings and weekends. Note this position is based on the Hollywood Reservation located at 3321 N State Road 7, Hollywood, FL 33021 with regular day travel to other sites/Reservations. There are work vehicles assigned to the department you can use between locations. Position Summary The incumbent in this position is responsible for providing quality housing and housing-related services to the Tribal Members of the Seminole Tribe of Florida. The individual provides excellent member care balanced with the application of housing policy; proactively communicates with Tribal Members to increase understanding of Housing Services and serves as an advocate for Tribal Members and their housing needs.
Qualifications / Requirements
Associate's Degree (preferably Social Sciences, Political Science, Urban Development or related field) is required. A minimum of two (2) years of progressive experience providing property management and assistance is required. An equivalent combination of education/training and experience will be considered. Knowledge of basic housing concepts and financial concepts related to housing is required. Possession of a valid Florida driver's license is required. Demonstrate proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and Outlook. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Must be able to travel to all Reservations and STOF facilities and be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
