Duties Greet prospective tenants warmly and conduct engaging property tours to showcase available units Manage lease or rental agreement processes, ensuring all documentation complies with legal and company standards Utilize property management software such as Yardi Accurately, track leasing activities, and maintain organized records Assist with tenant screening procedures, including background checks and credit reports Communicate effectively with clients via phone, email, and in person to answer questions, resolve concerns, and upsell available units or amenities Support lease renewals, rent collection, and lease expiration follow-ups while maintaining excellent customer relationships Collaborate with team members on property maintenance issues, conflict management, and ensuring compliance with Fair Housing regulations Qualifications Previous experience in property leasing Strong knowledge of landlord-tenant law and Fair Housing regulations Proficiency with property management tools such as Yardi, and Microsoft Office Suite Availability to work weekends is required Bilingual proficiency (Spanish) to serve diverse communities required Marketing experience in tenant prospecting/lead generation highly preferred Excellent customer service skills with professional phone etiquette and client communication abilities Demonstrated ability to manage contracts, negotiate lease terms, and handle conflict resolution effectively Experience working within a property management company or facilities management environment is preferred Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in data entry, filing, and administrative tasks Join us as a Part Time Leasing Agent where your enthusiasm fuels success!
