A Real Estate Agent works with clients to help them buy, sell or rent property. Works with and represents either a buyer or a seller in real estate transactions, and specializes in residential, commercial or other types of property. Offers clients up to date knowledge of local communities, real estate markets and prices. May be licensed to operate a real estate business.
Applicants must currently hold an ACTIVE Florida Title Agent License Please do not apply if your license is expired, inactive, pending, or if you are still working toward obtaining it. Experience as a closer, escrow officer, processor, real estate agent, or notary does not replace the required Florida 4-10 Title Agent License. We are an established Miami title company conducting a search for an experienced and highly organized Licensed Florida Title Agent. The ideal candidate has at least one year of recent, hands-on experience managing Florida residential title and closing transactions from contract through closing. This candidate must be able to independently manage multiple files, resolve title issues, prepare closing documents, communicate with all parties, and ensure smooth and timely closings. This is a full-time, in-person position in Miami. This is not an entry-level or training position. Key Responsibilities Manage Florida residential real estate transactions from contract through closing Review title searches, title commitments, lien searches, surveys, and supporting documents Identify and resolve title defects, liens, judgments, probate matters, code violations, open permits, and other curative issues Prepare, review, and balance Closing Disclosures, ALTA Settlement Statements, and HUD-1 Settlement Statements when applicable Prepare seller documents, affidavits, escrow documents, closing packages, and other required forms Coordinate with buyers, sellers, lenders, Realtors, attorneys, underwriters, associations, and municipalities Ensure compliance with Florida law, underwriting guidelines, FIRPTA requirements, escrow procedures, and company policies Manage transactions involving individuals, corporations, LLCs, partnerships, trusts, estates, and foreign sellers Conduct closings and clearly explain documents to clients Maintain accurate file documentation, notes, deadlines, and financial records Provide consistent updates to all parties throughout the transaction Deliver professional and responsive customer service Assist with occasional Realtor outreach, social media, marketing, and business-development initiatives Mandatory Qualifications Applicants must meet all the following requirements: Active Florida 4-10 Resident Title Insurance Agent License Minimum of one year of recent, hands-on Florida title and closing experience Active Florida Notary Public commission Professional fluency in English and Spanish, written and verbal Experience reviewing title commitments and resolving curative matters Experience preparing and balancing Closing Disclosures, ALTA Settlement Statements, and closing packages Working knowledge of FIRPTA, escrow procedures, underwriting requirements, and Florida real estate transactions Ability to independently manage multiple active files and strict deadlines Ability to work full-time and in person at our Miami office Willingness to accommodate occasional late closings when necessary Preferred Qualifications One or more years of Florida title experience Experience with marketing, social media, Realtor outreach, or business development The Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is organized, responsible, punctual, proactive, and highly detail-oriented.
