We are seeking a motivated, professional, and customer-focused Leasing Agent to join our dynamic property management team. As a Leasing Agent, you will be a key point of contact for prospective tenants and will guide them through the leasing process from their initial inquiry through property showings and application. The ideal candidate understands the local rental market, enjoys working with people, is comfortable with technology, and can work independently while maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail. Essential Functions Demonstrate a strong understanding of the local rental market and surrounding communities. Provide exceptional customer service with a hospitality-focused mindset. Be self-motivated, driven, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision. Take ownership of responsibilities and use sound judgment to get tasks completed efficiently and accurately. Maintain a professional, dependable, and detail-oriented approach. Adapt quickly to changing priorities and a fast-paced work environment. Build positive relationships with prospective tenants, current tenants, property owners, and vendors. Main Job Responsibilities Advertising & Marketing Update property descriptions, photos, amenities, and other marketing information to ensure listings are accurate and appealing. Review and verify listings across all third-party rental websites to ensure information, photos, pricing, and availability are listed correctly. Provide home owner updates, showing activity, feedback, and relevant rental-market information. Gather and communicate feedback from showings to help improve marketing and leasing strategies. Create and maintain engaging social media posts for available rental properties. Showings & Leasing Manage inbound leads through the company's primary leasing system, phone calls, text messages, email, social media, and online platforms. Pre-screen prospective tenants using established company procedures. Respond promptly and professionally to prospective tenant inquiries. Schedule property showings efficiently, making effective use of time and travel between properties. Conduct professional in-person property tours, including greeting prospects, showcasing the property, and answering questions. Clearly explain the application and leasing process, ensuring prospective tenants understand the requirements and next steps on how to apply. Address questions and concerns throughout the showing and leasing process. Manage property keys, access codes and gate codes. Maintain a high level of professionalism and hospitality throughout every prospect interaction. Administration Respond to rental inquiries by phone, email, text, social media, and online rental platforms. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within the company's property management software. Follow up consistently with prospective tenants to help move qualified leads through the leasing process. Become highly knowledgeable about the local community, neighborhoods, amenities, rental properties, and competing properties. Maintain accurate amenity information for new, existing, and renewal properties. Ensure property information remains accurate across internal systems and external marketing platforms. Assist with other leasing and property management duties as needed. Emergency Phone Coverage Participate in the company's emergency phone rotation, approximately 60 nights per year . Be available to respond to calls and emergencies during assigned evenings, weekends, and holidays. Communicate professionally with current tenants and determine the appropriate response or escalation for after-hours issues. Qualifications & Experience

•Valid Florida Real Estate License Required

• Previous experience in leasing, property management, hospitality, sales, or a related customer-facing industry is preferred. Demonstrated experience sourcing and working with prospective tenants or customers. Understanding of long-term rental strategies . Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong customer-service skills with a professional and hospitality-oriented approach. Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Strong attention to detail and follow-through. Ability to work independently, take initiative, and make sound decisions. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly. Technology Skills The ideal candidate is comfortable learning and using modern technology and software, including: Property management software; AppFolio experience is a plus . Microsoft Office and Google Workspace. Digital lease-signing platforms. CRM systems. Online scheduling and communication tools. Social media platforms, including Facebook and Instagram. Rental listing platforms such as Zillow, Rent.com, Apartments.com, and similar platforms. AI tools such as ChatGPT or similar platforms to assist with property descriptions, tenant communication, marketing content, and administrative tasks. Technology & IT Skills A broad understanding of information technology is preferred. Advanced IT experience is not required; however, the ideal candidate should be tech-savvy, resourceful, and comfortable troubleshooting basic technology issues . Driver's License A valid driver's license is required Must maintain a safe driving record Ability to travel regularly between rental properties for showings and property-related responsibilities. Bonus structure is subject to review and eligibility following successful 3-month probationary period .
