Leasing Agent - West Palm Beach $18.00-$21.00/hour | Full-Time We are an affordable housing community in West Palm Beach seeking an organized, personable Leasing Agent to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with people, and takes pride in getting the details right. What You'll Do Greet and tour prospective residents, showcasing available units and community amenities Process applications from start to finish, including income and asset verification, third-party verifications, and eligibility documentation required under the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program Maintain accurate applicant and resident files in compliance with LIHTC/Section 42 requirements Prepare lease agreements and required addenda, and ensure move-in packages are complete and compliant Track waitlists, unit availability, and upcoming recertifications Respond to resident inquiries and support day-to-day office operations Assist with annual recertifications and file audits as needed Maintain positive, professional relationships with residents, vendors, and the community team What We're Looking For Experience with LIHTC/tax credit compliance is preferred, but not required — we're happy to train the right person Strong attention to detail and comfort with paperwork-heavy processes A fast learner who is motivated, coachable, and eager to develop expertise in affordable housing compliance Excellent communication and customer service skills Comfortable using property management software (RealPage/LOFT experience a plus) Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy leasing office High school diploma or equivalent; Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP) or similar certification a plus, but not required at hire Why Join Us This is a great opportunity to build a career in affordable housing property management. Position Requirements Education:
High school diploma or GED required. Higher education preferred.
Experience:
2-3 year of related experience. LIHTC. If job includes or may include driving for company business: Driver must have a valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record with company insurance carrier Driver must have reliable means of transportation Driver must have the ability to be insurable at standard rates for driving. Driver must provide proof of personal auto liability insurance when using vehicles for company business To be hired, candidates will be required to successfully complete a background investigation and drug screen.
