The Leasing Agent will play a key role in maintaining optimum levels of occupancy for the 800-plus homes we manage in the Athens area. Excellent organizational and communication skills are important qualifications for this position, as well as good customer relations and the ability to multi-task. The ideal candidate is a high-energy, go-getter who takes responsibility and has a positive attitude.
Responsibilities Include:
Responsible for touring and leasing all properties under management Process all applications and parental guarantors Provide outstanding customer service, including assessing and resolving customer problems and professionally handling telephone, email, and walk-in inquiries Coordinate and process lease renewals in order to increase resident retention Process all lease amendments according to company policy, including but not limited to: tenant swaps, pet exhibits, and early termination requests Update all advertising daily and set up marketing and outreach programs Post on social media regularly Participate in all turn-related activities
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree strongly preferred; high school diploma required Property management experience preferred Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills required Experience with data entry, record keeping, and computer operation preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office preferred Superior customer service and communication skills required Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation This job description should not be considered all-inclusive.
