E & E Capital Management, LLC

Leasing Consultant Apartment Community

Job Description

$21 an hour before commission. The Conyers average is about $16. We'd rather tell you the number than write "competitive pay." Leasing agents around Conyers average roughly $16 an hour. We start at $21 and pay commission on top of that, because filling units well is worth more than filling them fast, and we'd rather keep a strong consultant than retrain a new one every eight months. You'll be the first person a prospect meets at our community in Conyers and the person a resident comes to when they're deciding whether to renew. Both matter more to this business than almost anything else we do. What we pay and provide $21.00/hour base , paid regardless of leasing volume Commission on signed leases Medical insurance 14 days paid time off plus paid holidays Rent discount on-site Schedule Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM, with rotating/weekly/seasonal Saturday coverage. What you'll do Leasing — where your commission comes from Tour prospective residents and follow up until they sign. This is a sales seat; closing is the job Respond to calls, emails, and online inquiries fast—response speed drives conversion more than anything else you'll do Process applications, verify income and rental history, prepare lease paperwork accurately Keep the tour path, model unit, and office showing well Residents Manage move-ins and make the first week smooth Drive renewals throughout the year, not just at the 60-day mark Take resident concerns seriously and route maintenance requests promptly Plan and run resident events Market and reporting Track traffic, conversion, and closing ratios; report weekly Run market surveys on comparable communities and flag pricing shifts Support listings, photos, and social content Apply fair housing standards consistently in every interaction, without exception What you need 2+ years in leasing, retail, hospitality, or another customer-facing sales role Comfort asking for the close—friendly isn't enough on its own Strong written and verbal communication; professional presence on the phone and in person Organized enough to run a pipeline without losing anyone High school diploma or GED Valid driver's license Nice to have Prior multifamily leasing experience Property management software (Yardi, Entrata, RealPage, Resman, OneSite, or RentCafe) Section 8 / Housing Choice Voucher familiarity Bilingual English/Spanish Where this goes Leasing is the front door to property management. Assistant Manager and Property Manager roles across our portfolio get filled from this seat more often than from outside—we're hiring a Property Manager in Covington right now. Tell us at the interview where you want to end up. To apply Hit Apply. No cover letter needed. If you've leased before, be ready to talk numbers on the screening call—traffic, conversion, and closing ratio. If you haven't, be ready to talk about a time you closed something that mattered. Offers are contingent on a background check and drug screening. E & E Capital Management, LLC, is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
