We are currently seeking a dependable, professional, and customer-focused Leasing Agent to join our team at a 94-unit apartment community located in Macon, GA. The Leasing Agent plays an important role in the day-to-day operations of the community and serves as a primary point of contact for current and prospective residents. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and organizational skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to provide excellent customer service while supporting the Property Manager with daily community operations. Key Responsibilities Greet prospective residents and provide property tours Respond to leasing inquiries and follow up with prospective residents Assist with the leasing process, applications, move-ins, and renewals Assist with rent collection and follow up on outstanding balances as directed Provide professional and timely assistance with resident questions and concerns Answer incoming phone calls, emails, and other correspondence Enter, track, and follow up on resident work orders and maintenance requests Maintain accurate resident, leasing, and property records Assist with notices, resident communications, and other administrative duties Help maintain a professional and welcoming leasing office and community environment Communicate regularly with and report to the Property Manager Follow company policies, procedures, Fair Housing requirements, and applicable regulations Meet or exceed company standards for customer service, leasing, and property operations Perform other duties as assigned to support the successful operation of the community Qualifications Previous leasing, property management, sales, or customer service experience preferred Strong customer service and communication skills Professional, dependable, and able to work well with residents and team members Strong organizational skills with attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Basic computer skills and ability to learn property management software Ability to handle sensitive resident and company information professionally and confidentially Knowledge of Fair Housing guidelines is a plus Benefits We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package, including: Competitive pay Paid holidays Paid time off Paid sick leave Benefits for eligible employees Opportunities to develop experience within the property management industry We are looking for someone who takes pride in providing excellent service, enjoys working with people, and is ready to become an important part of our property management team.
