Overview We're hiring a Leasing Agent who wants their income tied to their performance, not to a clock. This is a sales role first. You'll be the person who turns inquiries into tours, tours into applications, and applications into signed leases across our Savannah residential portfolio. $10/hour base + uncapped leasing commissions. The base is a floor, not the plan. Our top performers earn most of their income from commissions, and there's no ceiling on what you can make. If you want a guaranteed salary, this isn't the role. Reliable transportation is required — you'll be driving to properties daily for showings and tours. What You'll Do Work every lead fast. Respond to inquiries by phone, email, and listing platforms before your competition does. Schedule and run tours that sell the home and the community, not just the square footage. Close. Walk prospects through application, screening, lease signing, and move-in without losing them along the way. Follow up relentlessly. Most leases are won on the third or fourth touch. Handle objections with confidence and keep deals moving. Process applications and keep prospect and resident records clean in AppFolio. Partner with property managers to hit occupancy targets and support renewals. Support marketing efforts that drive traffic to your properties. Conduct every interaction in full compliance with Fair Housing regulations and Georgia landlord-tenant law. Build relationships that make residents want to stay and refer. What You Bring Commission-based sales experience is required. You've carried a quota, worked a pipeline, and earned a meaningful share of your income from commissions. A proven closing record. Tell us what you sold and what you earned doing it. Self-motivated and comfortable with variable income. You'd rather have upside than a guarantee. Outgoing, energetic, and genuinely good with people. Strong phone, written, and in-person communication skills. Ability to juggle a full pipeline without letting leads go cold. Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and landlord-tenant law preferred. Proficiency in AppFolio or willingness to learn it quickly. Leasing, real estate, hospitality, or retail sales background preferred. Familiarity with the Savannah rental market is a plus. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
