Duties Greet prospective tenants warmly and provide comprehensive tours of available units, highlighting features and benefits to generate interest. Manage the leasing process from initial inquiry to lease signing, ensuring all steps are completed accurately and efficiently. Maintain detailed records of property showings, applications, and lease agreements using Yardi or OneSite property management software. Verify applicant information, including income, credit history, and rental references, in compliance with LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) guidelines and Section 8 regulations. Ensure all leasing activities adhere to Fair Housing laws and legal administrative standards, including Landlord-tenant law and contracts management. Collaborate with maintenance teams to coordinate move-ins and address property upkeep issues promptly. Upsell additional services or amenities to prospective tenants to enhance occupancy rates and tenant satisfaction. Handle conflict management professionally by resolving tenant concerns efficiently while maintaining positive relationships. Assist with data entry, filing, and administrative tasks related to leasing operations, utilizing office experience skills such as phone etiquette and customer relationship management.
