Who are we? Boardwalk Development Group is a Suwanee, GA based Private Equity firm that acquires, develops, and manages self-storage facilities in Metro-Atlanta and throughout the Southeast. Boardwalk is among the Top 50 largest self storage operators in the Country. Boardwalk Development Group is looking for a full-time experienced Director of Acquisitions to actively pursue new properties. Responsibilities Sourcing potential opportunities and evaluating them for acquisition or development Negotiating property acquisitions and contracts Monitoring, tracking and assisting with property and acquisition due diligence Tracking business development activity Formulating acquisition strategies Sending out mailings and making 50-100 calls per day Creating financial models for acquisition and development pro-formas Inspecting sites and facilities Overseeing market and property researches Qualifications Commercial Brokerage experience required Prior outbound sales and/or real estate brokerage experience required Experience modeling cash flow projections and populating property proformas required Bachelor's degree or minimum of 4 years experience in commercial real estate related field Real Estate License or taking steps to obtain preferred Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel Strong Communication Skills Time management and organizational skills Ability to work independently with minimal oversight Ability to research and adapt to new systems Ability to travel; some out-of-state travel and personal vehicle usage required Self motivated and eager to learn and succeed Ability to stay organized and complete time-sensitive tasks We Offer Strong company culture Base salary plus a bonus structure; negotiable based on experience Advancement within the organization
