You'll answer inquiries, talk with prospective tenants, show apartments, follow up with leads, and help people find a property that's a great fit for them. A big part of this position is building relationships and turning interested prospects into happy tenants . We're looking for someone who can have a natural conversation, make people feel comfortable, and recognize when someone is ready to move forward. This isn't about high-pressure sales. It's about being friendly, helpful, responsive, and confident enough to ask for the application or lease when you've found the right fit. Your Day Might Include Talking with prospective tenants by phone, text, email, and in person Scheduling and conducting apartment showings Getting to know prospects and what they're looking for Helping people find an apartment that fits their needs Following up with leads after inquiries and showings Asking interested prospects to take the next step and apply Helping turn inquiries and showings into signed leases Building positive relationships with current and prospective tenants Keeping apartment listings and marketing information up to date Helping market available apartments Tracking available units, leads, showings, and leasing activity Looking for creative ways to improve our leasing and marketing Completing leasing paperwork and rental reference forms Occasionally walking properties to make sure they're clean and ready to show Helping with spreadsheets, data entry, and general office tasks Pitching in with the team wherever needed Who We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is: Outgoing, friendly, and comfortable talking with new people Naturally good at building relationships Energetic and positive Comfortable with sales and asking for someone's business A good communicator in person, over the phone, and in writing Hardworking and dependable Organized and able to keep track of multiple leads and follow-ups Self-motivated and willing to take initiative Detail-oriented and accurate Comfortable with computers, email, Microsoft Office, and Excel Someone who follows through and doesn't let opportunities fall through the cracks A team player who is willing to jump in and help when needed Previous sales, leasing, hospitality, or customer service experience is a plus, but it's not required.
