Job Shift:
Tuesday - Saturday 8:30am - 5:00pm
Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Leasing Agent to join our team. The Float Leasing Agent is responsible for renting out apartments and assisting tenants with their needs. Their duties include meeting with prospective tenants to determine lease terms, receiving security deposits and coordinating with current tenants to discuss lease changes. This position will help all properties in Idaho, ranging from Post Falls, Coeur d 'Alene, and Hayden. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited too: Warmly greets visitors, prospective renters, and current residents. Provides potential tenants with brochures, information, and tours of facilities and available units. Performing background checks, credit checks and other responsibilities to see if prospective renters are qualified. Creates, develops, and maintains a wait list as needed. Tours property daily to ensure it is neat, tidy, attractive, and in good repair. Manages use of shared facilities such as fitness and recreation areas, laundry facilities, and meeting or gathering spaces. Preparing leasing documents for potential renters using property standards and regulations. Handling the collection of rent payments, security deposits and application fees. Creates, develops, and maintains a list of promotions and discounts. Develops and implements marketing strategies to attract renters. Performs other related duties as assigned. Keeping residents informed of any changes to rental agreements or upcoming property issues. Building a rapport with current tenants to give them personalized service.
Job Requirements:
Experience as a Leasing Agent is preferred, but we will train the right individual. Outgoing, friendly attitude and ability to make others feel welcome and comfortable. Working knowledge of real estate law and leasing practices is preferred. Organization, project management and time management abilities. Collaboration and teamwork abilities. Excellent interpersonal skills with good sales and customer service skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Detail-oriented and organized. MS Office familiarity. Effective communication skills, including verbal and written communication. Persuasive with marketing and sales skills. Customer service orientation. Benefits /
