We pride ourselves on our commitment to excellence, and we are looking for a motivated Leasing Assistant to join our team. The Leasing Assistant will play a pivotal role in supporting our leasing operations, from marketing available apartments to prospective tenants to facilitating lease signings. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong background in customer service, marketing, and leasing processes, who are looking to grow their knowledge base in real estate.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the property owner to create and implement marketing strategies. Assist in the marketing of available apartments through social media and other online platforms. Conduct showings of vacant apartments to prospective tenants, showcasing property features and benefits. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current vacancies, market trends, and property offerings for nine properties on the west side of Chicago. Initiate and track work orders to ensure apartments are ready for rental. Support lease-up efforts by providing exceptional customer service and relationship management. Use AppFolio software for tracking leads, managing applications, and processing leases. Handle inquiries from prospective tenants and provide information about the leasing process. Cellular phone to be provided. Maintain organized records of tenant applications and lease agreements.

Minimum Qualifications:

Knowledge of real estate terminology and local market trends. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail. Positive customer-facing experience with proven relationship management skills. Ability to take initiative and work independently in a fast-paced environment. Experience supporting lease-ups and marketing apartment rentals via social media. Adaptable and able to thrive with changing priorities. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). High energy, outgoing disposition.

Preferred Qualifications:

Proficient with AppFolio Property Management Software.

Work Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 10 am - 6 pm CST.

Pay:

$17.00 - $18.00 per hour
