Leasing Consultant :

The Leasing Consultant is responsible for assisting the Property Manager in achieving occupancy targets by coordinating all phases of leasing.

Essential Duties :

Respond promptly to all inquires by e-mail, Facebook, twitter, craigslist, apartment publication listings, apartment listing services, phone, mail and website Answers phones, sets appointments Works with the Property Manager to implement the marketing plan Conducts outreach marketing efforts and records and tracks the results Conduct market surveys and suggest corrective course of action for subject site Prepares lease documents for execution Prepares lease files after move-in Sends out lease renewal letters and renewal leases Reviews Lease calls Participates in resident retention programs Lease apartments Process resident applications for occupancy Assist residents with maintenance request Other duties as may be necessary to achieve the owners goals and objectives Reports to : This position reports to the Property Manager.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent (minimum) National Apartment Leasing Professional (NALP) designation from NAA preferred Previous leasing experience a plus Previous sales experience required Highly motivated and detail oriented Microsoft Office

• Word, Excel and Outlook Basic computer skills necessary to navigate the various system used by M2 Yardi Voyager Experience a plus Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to work a varied schedule, including weekends if necessary Excellent verbal and written communication skills
