We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Leasing Agent to join our property management team. This is a part-time position, approximately 12 hours per week (Sunday & Monday), with potential for additional hours as needed. In this vital role, you will support the leasing process from initial inquiry through lease signing, ensuring a seamless experience for prospective tenants. Your energetic approach and excellent customer service skills will help foster positive relationships and promote available properties. Responsibilities Assist property manager by providing detailed property information, scheduling tours, and answering inquiries via phone, email, and in person Utilize property management software to input data accurately, track leads, and maintain organized records Serve as the first point of contact for prospective residents calling or visiting the property Conduct tours of available units and community amenities Prepare and execute lease agreements and collect rental deposits Follow up on all prospects via guest cards, thank-you emails, and calls Actively market the community through online advertising and social media Prepare marketing materials in accordance with company templates and guidelines Monitor and stay current on comparable community activity and rental rates Ensure model and target units are market-ready at all times Verify proof of income and communicate leasing qualifications to applicants Maintain accurate resident and property files and upload documents into property management software Provide excellent customer service to current and prospective residents Follow Fair Housing Guidelines throughout the leasing process Qualifications No prior leasing experience required — will train the right candidate Strong communication and customer service skills Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities Reliable attendance and consistent, dependable availability Comfortable working both independently and as part of a small team Proficiency in English, written and verbal Experience with AppFolio preferred High school diploma or GED required
