Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Leasing Agent/Property Management and become the driving force behind creating vibrant, welcoming communities! In this energetic role, you will oversee leasing operations, manage tenant relations, and ensure the smooth daily functioning of our properties. Your proactive approach will help maximize occupancy, uphold property standards, and deliver exceptional customer service. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your expertise in property management while making a positive impact on residents' lives. Manage all aspects of property leasing, including marketing available units, conducting tours, and processing applications with enthusiasm and professionalism. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of lease agreements, legal requirements, and Fair Housing regulations to ensure compliance at all times. Utilize property management software such as Appfolio to input data accurately, track leasing activity, and generate reports efficiently. Handle tenant inquiries, resolve conflicts promptly using effective conflict management skills, and foster positive relationships through excellent customer service. Oversee lease negotiations, prepare contracts, and upsell additional services or amenities to enhance resident satisfaction. Coordinate property maintenance requests with facilities management teams and ensure timely resolution to uphold property standards. Keep detailed records of leasing activities, legal documents, filing systems, and administrative correspondence in accordance with legal administrative practices. Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles with a strong understanding of landlord-tenant law and Section 8 housing programs. Familiarity with LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) regulations and compliance requirements for affordable housing projects. Proficiency in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software for data entry and reporting purposes. Excellent customer service skills combined with professional phone etiquette to effectively communicate with residents, prospects, and vendors. Strong negotiation skills paired with experience in contracts management to secure favorable lease terms while ensuring legal compliance. Office experience that includes filing, data entry, conflict resolution, and administrative support functions. Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
