The Leasing Consultant is responsible for driving residential leasing activity and delivering exceptional experience for prospective and current residents in Fenway's premier luxury building. This role serves as a key ambassador for the property, managing the leasing process from initial inquiry through move-in while supporting resident satisfaction, retention, marketing, and overall property performance. The Leasing Consultant works closely with the General Manager, Assistant General Manager, and property team to achieve occupancy and revenue goals and maintain a high-quality community experience. Key Responsibilities Generate leasing activity by responding to prospective resident inquiries, conducting property and apartment tours, presenting amenities and services, and effectively communicating the value of the community. Manage the leasing process from application through lease execution, including reviewing applications, preparing documentation, explaining lease terms, and ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable Fair Housing and legal requirements. Build strong relationships with prospective and current residents through professional, responsive, and personalized service, with a focus on resident satisfaction, retention, and lease renewals. Support occupancy and revenue objectives by following up with prospects, converting leads, monitoring market and competitive conditions, and providing feedback on pricing, availability, and leasing trends. Support property marketing initiatives, including online advertising, social media, open houses, resident events, and other activities designed to generate traffic and strengthen the property's brand. Partner with the property and service teams to coordinate apartment readiness, move-ins, move-outs, maintenance requests, and resident concerns, ensuring a seamless resident experience in a luxury environment. . Maintain accurate and timely leasing, prospect, resident, and property records, including availability, lease status, CRM activity, and required reporting. Process deposits, rent payments, and other leasing-related transactions accurately and in accordance with company procedures. Maintain a thorough understanding of property amenities, policies, market conditions, competitive properties, and applicable leasing requirements. Always represents the property professionally and contributes to a positive, collaborative team environment. Participate in required meetings, weekends, evenings, and resident or leasing events as needed to support property operations and leasing objectives. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in business, real estate, hospitality, or a related field preferred. Previous experience in residential leasing, sales, hospitality, customer service, or property management preferred. Strong sales, communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills with the ability to build relationships and effectively close business. Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple prospects, residents, and priorities simultaneously. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and resolve issues professionally. Knowledge of local residential rental markets and competitive properties preferred. Proficiency with leasing/CRM systems and Microsoft Office; Yardi or similar property management software preferred. Must be available to work weekends and evenings as needed. Ability to walk the property regularly and lift, push, pull, or carry up to 15 pounds as required for property operations.
