Job Description

Leasing & Property Coordinator Location:
West Hartford, CT | 100%
Onsite Schedule:
Monday-Friday, Full-Time Employment Type:
Temp-to-Hire or Direct Hire Pay:
$25-$28/hour Our client is seeking a Leasing & Property Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations of a residential property in the West Hartford area. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in leasing, property management, housing, office administration, or resident services who enjoys a combination of administrative responsibilities and interaction with residents. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, personable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a busy office environment. Responsibilities Serve as a point of contact for current and prospective residents Respond to phone calls, emails, visitors, and general property inquiries Assist with leasing inquiries and apartment showings Maintain resident, applicant, and leasing documentation Prepare leases, move-in paperwork, and other resident correspondence Maintain prospect lists and assist with waitlist administration Coordinate applicant screening and required documentation Support resident move-ins, move-outs, transfers, and relocations Conduct apartment walkthroughs related to move-ins and move-outs Assist with resident service and maintenance requests Process invoices and maintain vendor information Prepare correspondence, reports, spreadsheets, and other documents Provide general administrative support to the property management team Assist with meetings, projects, and other property-related initiatives as needed Qualifications 2+ years of relevant professional experience Background in property management, residential leasing, housing, customer service, or administrative support preferred Strong organizational and follow-up skills Excellent communication and customer service skills Professional and comfortable interacting with residents, applicants, vendors, and internal staff Ability to handle confidential information appropriately Comfortable working independently and as part of a team Proficiency with Microsoft Office/Microsoft 365 Comfortable learning new software and technology High school diploma or equivalent required Must be able to work onsite Monday-Friday This position offers the opportunity to join an established residential property team and take on a varied role combining leasing, resident support, and property administration.
