ASAP The Liberty Group is seeking an experienced Property Management Housing Specialist for an opportunity with a housing organization near Pittsfield, MA. This is a great opportunity for someone with property management, public housing, affordable housing, or Section 8 experience who is looking for a long-term position. The property is currently transitioning from public housing to Project-Based Section 8 through RAD, so experience within a housing authority or affordable housing environment would be especially valuable. What You'll Be Doing In this role, you will support the day-to-day management and leasing operations of the property, including: Property management and resident support Leasing and lease-up activities Managing and maintaining applicant waiting lists Processing and tracking tenant rent payments Preparing and issuing late rent notices Maintaining resident and property records Assisting with general housing program administration Supporting data conversion related to the property's RAD transition Working closely with property leadership to keep daily operations organized and running smoothly What We're Looking For Ideal candidates will have experience in one or more of the following areas: Public housing Affordable housing Section 8 / Housing Choice Voucher programs Project-Based Section 8 Residential property management Leasing or housing administration Experience with HAB software is highly preferred. Candidates do not need to be experts in every area. We're looking for someone with a solid property management or housing foundation who is organized, comfortable working with residents, able to manage multiple administrative responsibilities, and willing to learn.
