About the Role As our Buyer Specialist, you'll work directly with buyers throughout the home-buying process. You'll be responsible for building relationships, conducting buyer consultations and showings, writing offers, communicating with clients and vendors, and managing your buyers through closing. You'll work closely with Scott and our operations team while taking ownership of your buyer pipeline and client experience. The goal is to build a long-term career where you become the trusted real estate advisor your clients refer to their friends and family. What You'll Do - Buyer Experience Conduct buyer consultations and educate clients on the home-buying process Build strong relationships with buyers and become their trusted real estate resource Schedule and conduct property showings Help buyers evaluate homes, neighborhoods, pricing, and market conditions Write and present purchase offers Guide clients through inspections, appraisals, negotiations, and closing Communicate proactively so clients always know what happens next Deliver an exceptional client experience from the first conversation through long after closing Lead Follow-Up & Business Development Respond quickly to new buyer leads Follow up consistently with prospects and active buyers Maintain an organized buyer pipeline Build business through your personal sphere and local network Attend networking events, open houses, and community events Ask for referrals and continue building relationships after closing Develop a long-term personal book of business Systems & Organization Maintain accurate client information and notes in Follow Up Boss Complete follow-up tasks and maintain a clean CRM Follow team playbooks, checklists, and communication standards Stay organized with appointments, deadlines, showings, and contracts Work closely with the operations team to keep transactions moving smoothly Take ownership of your clients and responsibilities Professional Development Participate in team meetings, coaching, and training Continue developing contract and negotiation knowledge Stay current on Greater Lansing market trends Learn and follow our team's systems and processes Look for ways to improve your skills and the client experience Contribute ideas that help the team grow What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is: Licensed or actively working toward becoming a licensed Michigan Realtor 1-3 years of sales, customer service, or related experience preferred A strong communicator who is comfortable talking with people Coachable and willing to learn Self-motivated and ambitious Competitive with a desire to improve Positive and professional Punctual and dependable Comfortable working evenings and weekends when clients need you Self-educating and proactive about improving your skills Organized and able to manage multiple clients and deadlines Comfortable following systems and processes Someone who takes ownership instead of waiting to be told what to do Who This Opportunity Is For You may be a great fit if you already have a foundation in real estate and are looking for: More leads Better mentorship Consistent systems A team environment A clear path to grow your business Support from an experienced real estate professional The opportunity to focus on building relationships and serving buyers We are especially interested in candidates who already have an established local network and are actively building their real estate business.
