In this role, you will serve as a primary contact for current and prospective residents, ensuring a positive leasing experience while fostering resident satisfaction and community engagement. The Leasing Specialist plays a vital role in generating traffic, leasing apartments, and maintaining strong resident relations to support the overall success of our property operations. Responsibilities Act as the main point of contact for prospective residents by guiding them through the leasing process with professionalism and enthusiasm. Generate and handle traffic by marketing available units and engaging with potential tenants. Qualify prospects to determine their needs and suitability for available apartments. Lease apartments by preparing lease documentation, explaining terms, and facilitating move-in procedures efficiently. Facilitate lease renewals to retain existing residents and promote community stability. Coordinate resident activities to foster a vibrant and inclusive community environment. Maintain ongoing communication with residents to address inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure high levels of satisfaction. Assist with administrative tasks related to leasing activities, including documentation management and follow-up. Qualifications Proven experience in leasing, sales, or customer service roles is preferred. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with residents and prospects. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in lease documentation and administrative processes. Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team-oriented environment. A proactive attitude with the ability to generate leads and convert interest into signed leases. Knowledge of property management software or leasing systems is a plus.
