Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Closing Assistant to join our title company team. In this vital role, you will support the seamless completion of property transactions by welcoming people at the front desk, answering phone calls, coordinating closings, assisting on files by preparing documents, obtaining necessary documentation in preparation for closing. You will play a key role in providing clients with a smooth and efficient experience while assisting teammates accomplish their many tasks. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with legal professionals, title companies, and clients to facilitate successful property transfers. The primary location for this position is in our Hibbing office, however, our Hibbing and Virginia office operate as one, so you must be willing to work in either or both locations. Responsibilities Welcome and assist clients, real estate agents, and lenders as they come into the office. Collect necessary documentation to get a file opened. Answer phone calls as they come in. Assist in drafting documents in preparation for closing. Assist in obtaining any documents necessary to conduct closing. Coordinate with clients, attorneys, escrow officers, and other stakeholders to facilitate communication throughout the closing process. Helpful but not required : Proven experience in law office settings or real estate transaction management roles. Strong knowledge of real estate law, legal descriptions, title processing, and title review procedures. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) along with experience using real estate documentation review tools. Excellent client communication skills combined with a customer service-oriented approach. Attention to detail. Ability to multitask. Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
