The employee will be a "roving" appraisal review and real estate specialist in the South Metro MN market & based out of the Lakeville branch. They will go to selected real estate locations to perform physical on-site or drive by inspections of real estate collateral that the bank intends to provide financing for. Primary responsibility is to verify third party appraised values or in-house prepared Estimates of Value and to recommend and substantiate corrections to the reports and values as needed. Individual will also advise and assist loan officers in creatively marketing and selling distressed real estate that is either in a workout status or OREO.

Duties:

Performa physical on-site inspection of real estate; heavy daytime travel required.

Prepare in-house EOV's, progress inspections, condition reports and additional duties.

Verify third-party appraised values and recommend and substantiate values.

Work with established and proven procedures and other qualified, experience team members.

Requirements:

Candidate is required to hold a Minnesota Real Estate Appraiser's license and/or a Real Estate Salesperson's or Broker's license. Preference will be given to candidates holding an Appraiser's license. Unlicensed applicants will not be considered for this position.

Minimum five years in real estate appraisal, sales, or related real estate fields.

Compensation:

Competitive market salary with company vehicle and laptop provided.
