About the Opportunity We are seeking a customer-focused Leasing Consultant to join a professionally managed apartment community. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys sales, building relationships, and delivering exceptional service while helping prospective residents find their next home. Key Responsibilities Welcome prospective residents and provide a positive first impression of the community. Conduct apartment tours and explain community features, amenities, pricing, and availability. Guide prospects through the leasing process, from initial inquiry through move-in. Maintain accurate leasing records and resident files. Respond promptly to phone, email, and online inquiries. Follow up with prospective residents and renewal opportunities to maximize occupancy. Assist with marketing initiatives, outreach events, and local networking efforts to generate new leads. Monitor the presentation of model homes, vacant apartments, and common areas, reporting any concerns to management. Process rental applications, collect required documentation, and assist with lease preparation. Handle deposits and other leasing-related transactions in accordance with company procedures. Track leasing activity and prepare regular reports. Communicate with current residents to promote satisfaction and address routine concerns. Work collaboratively with the management and maintenance teams to ensure an outstanding resident experience. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework is a plus. Previous experience in apartment leasing, sales, hospitality, retail, or customer service preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational and time management abilities. Comfortable using property management software and Microsoft Office. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations is preferred. Professional appearance and customer-first attitude. Work Environment Combination of office and outdoor work. Weekend availability is required. Occasional evening hours may be needed for resident events or marketing activities. Ability to walk the property, climb stairs, and occasionally lift up to 20 pounds. Pay:
$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
