Job Description

Real Estate Title Post Closer (Full Time) - Gulfport, MS Join DSLD Title, a local real estate title company, as a Real Estate Title Post Closer, where accuracy, organization, and follow-through drive every closing. In this role, you will review executed documents, coordinate funding approvals, and ensure that final transaction packages are complete, accurate, and delivered on time. The ideal candidate will be detailed oriented and possess a strong desire to learn and grow. You must be able to work efficiently under pressure, while maintaining a positive attitude. Candidate will be required to become a licensed Notary Public.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage funding documents, disbursements, recording, and final document distribution. Partner with the Escrow Officer and support the closing process as needed. Prepare, review, and interpret closing documents, including loan packages and title policies. Proofread documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance. Prioritize and meet daily time-sensitive deadlines. Provide backup support for escrow account activities, including receipt of funds, check issuance, and wire transfers. Maintain organized electronic records for time-sensitive transaction documents.
JOB REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS
Preferred:
at least 1 year of experience in a real estate title, escrow, or closing support role. Working knowledge of title insurance issuance. Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines with accuracy. Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills. Comfort working independently while collaborating effectively with a team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel. Professional demeanor, adaptability, and a willingness to learn and grow. Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current motor vehicle liability insurance required. Residency in one of the following states is a requirement for the position: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, or Texas.
