We are looking for an outgoing Leasing Consultant for our community in Hattiesburg, MS. The successful candidate will effectively explore the market to identify opportunities and secure residents while creating dynamic rapport with each prospect. Responsibilities Promote unoccupied properties through various media and advertising techniques Provide accurate information on the different features of properties. Validate application information and references. Negotiate leasing terms and complete agreements. Show prospective residents the models and units available for rent. Process applications for the approval procedure. Answer phone and online inquiries providing information in response to rental inquiries. Make follow-up calls and email responses as necessary. Assist in the lease renewal process performing duties as assigned by the Property Manager or Assistant Manager. Open and secure models and "show" apartments daily. Help maintain the rental office, models and show apartments at all times. Walk the property daily to inspect rent ready apartments and the general condition of the community. Skills Proven working experience as a Leasing Consultant. Good knowledge of leasing rules and regulations/fair housing. Proven track record of successful sales. Basic understanding of MS Office. Leasing Consultant:

Full-time position with regularly scheduled weekend hours (rotating Saturdays.) The ideal candidate will have previous apartment industry experience. Must be organized and detail-oriented, possess strong marketing and sales skills, effective communication skills, and experience with a telephone sales presentation. Must have good interpersonal and customer service skills. Computer skills required. Knowledge of Yardi and CRM software is a plus. Must possess a current and valid Driver's License.
