Job Description

Real Estate Agent — Buyer and Seller OpportunitiesAbout Owners Only Real Estate Owners Only Real Estate is growing, and we are looking for motivated agents who want more than a place to hang their license. We are building a different kind of real estate company—one centered on strong representation, honest advice, creative strategy, and measurable results. We don't believe an agent's job is simply to list a property, open a door, or fill out paperwork. Our job is to understand what the client is trying to accomplish and develop the strategy to get them there. Our seller-focused approach is built around strategic positioning, extensive market exposure, skilled negotiation, and creating competition whenever possible. We are also expanding our buyer-agent division to ensure every lead and client receives attentive, knowledgeable representation. Whether you are an experienced agent looking for a stronger platform or a newer agent who is coachable, driven, and ready to work, there may be a place for you here. What You'll Do Depending on your strengths and career goals, your role may focus on representing sellers, working with buyers, developing new business, or a combination of all three.
Responsibilities include:
Consult with buyers and sellers to understand their goals, priorities, and concerns Guide clients through the entire transaction with honesty, professionalism, and clear communication Prepare market analyses and recommend effective pricing and positioning strategies Prospect consistently and develop relationships that lead to new business Respond promptly to company-generated leads and follow established follow-up systems Coordinate showings, open houses, inspections, appraisals, and transaction deadlines Prepare and negotiate offers, counteroffers, repairs, concessions, and contract terms Use our CRM to manage leads, document communication, and maintain consistent follow-up Promote listings and services through social media, digital marketing, networking, and direct outreach Maintain a working knowledge of local inventory, recent sales, market conditions, and industry changes Protect each client's interests while complying with Fair Housing laws, licensing requirements, and professional standards Participate in coaching, training, role-playing, and team accountability Who We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is: Self-motivated and willing to take initiative Comfortable prospecting and having real conversations with people Responsive, organized, and dependable A strong communicator and active listener Confident enough to offer honest advice, even when the conversation is difficult Competitive, while remaining ethical and professional Coachable and willing to follow systems that have been proven to work Comfortable learning new technology, marketing platforms, and CRM systems Able to manage multiple clients, deadlines, and transactions without losing attention to detail Familiar with Western North Carolina or committed to learning the local market Licensed in North Carolina or actively working toward obtaining a license Previous sales or real estate experience is helpful, but character, work ethic, and willingness to learn matter just as much. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. What We Offer Direct coaching from an award-winning agent with 20 years of experience Proven buyer- and seller-conversion systems Opportunities to work with company-generated leads CRM, marketing, and transaction systems A clear path for professional growth and increased responsibility Opportunities to specialize in buyer representation, seller representation, or business development A collaborative environment where ideas and initiative are valued A commission-based compensation structure that rewards both self-generated and team-generated business The opportunity to help build something with long-term potential—not simply join another traditional real estate team Is This the Right Fit? This opportunity is for someone who wants to build a meaningful real estate career and is willing to do the work that requires. We want agents who follow through, communicate well, accept coaching, and take responsibility for their results. In return, we provide support, strategy, experience, and an opportunity to grow alongside the company. If you believe real estate should be about representing people—not merely completing transactions—we would like to meet you.
