Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Leasing Consultant for our beautiful property in Clayton, NC. As a Leasing Consultant, you will play a crucial role in marketing and leasing our properties to potential residents. Your primary responsibility will be to provide an exceptional customer experience, from initial contact to lease signing. You will be responsible for showcasing our properties, providing tours, and negotiating lease agreements.
Duties:
  • Manage and maintain accurate records and documentation, including property files, resident information, and lease agreements.
  • Conduct property tours and provide information about the property, its amenities, and local services.
  • Respond to inquiries from potential residents, answering questions about the property, and addressing concerns.
  • Utilize sales skills to promote the property, highlighting its features, and ensuring that residents have a positive experience.
  • Ensure compliance with fair housing regulations, providing equal access to housing opportunities for all applicants.
  • Collaborate with the property management team to ensure the property is maintained to a high standard.
  • Utilize various software systems, including Yardi, to manage and track leasing activities.
  • Review and process lease applications, ensuring all necessary documents are received and that all relevant laws and regulations are adhered to.
  • Prepare and present lease agreements, ensuring that all terms and conditions are clearly explained to residents.
  • Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times, providing exceptional customer service.
Experience:
  • Prior experience in the service industry (retail sales, hospitality, restaurant service) or a related field is required.
  • Prior leasing experience.
  • Excellent communication, phone etiquette, and organizational skills are essential for success in this role.
Must have a valid drivers license and job longevity.
