Job Summary We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Wills, Estates, and Trusts Legal Assistant to join our dynamic legal team. In this role, you will provide vital support in managing estate planning, trust administration, and probate processes. Your proactive approach and excellent legal support skills will ensure smooth case progression, accurate document preparation, and effective client communication. Duties Assist attorneys with drafting and reviewing estate planning documents such as wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advance directives Manage legal case files using document management systems like iManage and PCLaw, ensuring all records are accurate, organized, and up-to-date Conduct legal research on procedural law, UCC law, tribal law & regulations, securities law, and other relevant areas using Westlaw and LexisNexis Support estate administration tasks including probate filings, asset inventorying, and beneficiary communications Prepare legal correspondence, pleadings, contracts, and other documents with precision using Microsoft Office and Word processing tools Handle confidential client information with integrity while maintaining strict adherence to privacy protocols Coordinate client interviews and gather necessary documentation through effective interviewing techniques Assist with project management activities related to estate planning cases to ensure deadlines are met efficiently Experience Paralegal experience or legal administrative support experience within estate planning or civil litigation environments Proven knowledge of procedural law and document review processes Familiarity with estate planning concepts including trusts, wills, and probate procedures Experience supporting multiple legal areas such as family law, personal injury law, workers' compensation law, landlord-tenant law, or securities law is a plus Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced setting Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel) along with legal research tools like Westlaw or LexisNexis Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for client interaction and internal collaboration Join our team to contribute your expertise in estate law while enjoying a supportive environment that values your professional growth.
