Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Leasing Associate to join our property management team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for prospective tenants and current residents, ensuring a seamless leasing experience that promotes customer satisfaction and property occupancy. Your expertise in property leasing, legal administrative processes, and customer service will drive successful lease negotiations and foster positive client relationships. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a vibrant community while honing your skills in property management and client communication. Duties Greet prospective tenants, provide property tours, and answer inquiries with enthusiasm and professionalism Manage lease or rental agreement processes, including drafting, reviewing, and executing contracts in compliance with Fair Housing regulations and landlord-tenant law Utilize property management tools such as Appfolio to maintain accurate data entry, leasing records, and client information Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure property upkeep aligns with leasing schedules and tenant needs Conduct conflict management by addressing tenant concerns promptly and professionally while maintaining positive relationships Support team management efforts by assisting with budgeting, reporting, and maintaining filing systems for lease documents and legal paperwork Skills Proficiency in property management software including Yardi, OneSite, and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) Strong knowledge of landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations, and Section 8 policies Experience with lease or rental agreement management, contracts negotiation, and property leasing procedures Excellent customer service skills with a focus on client communication and relationship management Ability to handle conflict resolution effectively while maintaining professionalism Office experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for data entry, filing, and correspondence Familiarity with property maintenance coordination, facilities management, and property management tools Skilled in upselling additional services or amenities to prospective tenants to maximize occupancy rates Effective phone etiquette combined with strong organizational skills for managing multiple priorities Join us to be part of a dedicated team committed to creating welcoming communities through exceptional leasing experiences.
