Job Description

Perry Reid Properties is seeking a friendly, motivated, and dependable Leasing Consultant to join our team in North Platte, NE. At Perry Reid Properties, we believe teamwork is essential to providing a great experience for both our residents and prospective residents. This position plays an important role in welcoming prospective residents, supporting current residents, and helping maintain strong occupancy at the property.
Schedule:
Full-time, 40 hours per week. Position Overview The Leasing Consultant is responsible for assisting prospective residents throughout the leasing process, from the initial inquiry and property tour through application and move-in. This position also provides ongoing customer service to current residents and assists with the day-to-day administrative needs of the property. The ideal candidate is personable, organized, self-motivated, and comfortable managing multiple priorities. Previous experience in leasing, property management, sales, hospitality, or customer service is preferred. Responsibilities Welcome prospective residents and provide tours of available apartments and the community Respond to and follow up on leasing inquiries by phone, email, and in person Build positive relationships with prospective and current residents Assist in maintaining property occupancy goals Maintain accurate and current listings of available apartments Post and update online apartment advertisements Collect application fees and security deposits as required Submit completed applications to the Property Manager for approval Communicate application status to applicants and coordinate move-in dates and times Coordinate with maintenance staff regarding apartment readiness and upcoming move-ins Track lease expiration dates and assist with leasing and renewal follow-up Maintain daily records of prospect traffic, phone calls, emails, and leasing activity Assist with general office and administrative duties Maintain organized and accurate resident, applicant, and property files Protect confidential resident, applicant, and company information Provide professional and responsive customer service to current residents Perform other related duties as assigned Qualifications Strong customer service and communication skills Friendly, professional, and comfortable working with a variety of people Organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently and as part of a team Previous leasing, property management, sales, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred Basic computer skills; experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and online advertising platforms preferred If you enjoy working with people, building relationships, and helping individuals find a place to call home, we would love to hear from you!
