Duties Manage the leasing process from initial inquiry through lease signing, ensuring all documentation is accurate and compliant with Fair Housing regulations and landlord-tenant law. Utilize property management software such as Appfolio to maintain up-to-date records of tenant information, lease agreements, and rental payments. Conduct property tours for prospective tenants, highlighting features and answering questions to promote leasing opportunities. Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure properties are in excellent condition for showings and move-ins. Handle legal administrative tasks including lease or rental agreement management, contract preparation, and filing of all relevant documents. Communicate effectively with clients via phone, email, and in person, providing exceptional customer service while upselling available units or amenities. Resolve conflicts or concerns from tenants or prospects professionally, maintaining positive relationships while adhering to Fair Housing regulations. Skills Proficiency with property management tools such as Appfolio, Yardi, OneSite, and customer relationship management (CRM) systems. Experience with legal administrative tasks related to lease management, contracts, and property documentation. Excellent communication skills including phone etiquette, negotiation abilities, and client relationship management. Ability to handle conflict management effectively while maintaining professionalism. Familiarity with property maintenance coordination and facilities management processes. Competence in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for data entry, reporting, and correspondence. Prior experience in property leasing within a property management company or real estate environment is highly preferred. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in an office setting while providing exceptional customer service.
