Residential Real Estate Position Overview A successful Albuquerque Realtor is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and dependable Executive & Personal Assistant to help manage a busy real estate business as well as day-to-day personal responsibilities. This is a varied, hands-on position for someone who enjoys keeping things organized, anticipating needs, solving problems, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks. The ideal candidate is professional, resourceful, detail-oriented, comfortable working independently, and able to shift easily between business and personal priorities. The goal of this position is simple: help the Realtor stay focused on clients, relationships, and growing the business by taking ownership of the details behind the scenes. Executive & Real Estate Responsibilities Help prepare properties for showings, open houses, and special events. Coordinate closing gifts, client appreciation events, mailings, and other relationship-marketing activities. Maintain and organize client databases, files, documents, contacts, and vendor information. Assist with some marketing projects, postcards, flyers, and property marketing. Run real estate-related errands, including delivering documents, prelisting packages, gifts, marketing materials, or property-related items. Assist with special projects and general organization of the Realtor's business. Identify tasks that need attention and handle them proactively rather than waiting for direction. Personal Assistant Responsibilities This position also includes personal assistance designed to help keep the Realtor's professional and personal schedule running smoothly.
Responsibilities may include:
Manage personal appointments, reservations, reminders, and calendar items. Make travel arrangements, including flights, hotels, transportation, and itineraries. Schedule household services, maintenance, repairs, deliveries, and appointments. Coordinate with household vendors, service providers, and contractors. Handle returns, pickups, shipping, purchases, and miscellaneous errands. Assist with gift purchasing, reservations, events, and special occasions. Help organize household paperwork, schedules, and projects. Coordinate vehicle service, dog grooming and other routine personal appointments. Handle other personal tasks and special projects as needed. Ideal Candidate The right person for this position is someone who is naturally organized and enjoys making life easier for the person they support. You should be comfortable receiving a broad objective and figuring out the details necessary to accomplish it. You are likely a great fit if you: Are extremely organized and detail-oriented. Are proactive and naturally think several steps ahead. Have excellent follow-through. Can manage multiple priorities without becoming overwhelmed. Are comfortable with a schedule where priorities occasionally change quickly. Have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Are professional and comfortable communicating with high-end clients and vendors. Have strong judgment and know when to handle something independently and when to ask. Are comfortable handling confidential business and personal information. Are tech-savvy and able to learn new systems quickly. Are comfortable running errands and working outside of an office. Have a positive, solution-oriented attitude. Take pride in being dependable and making sure details are handled correctly. Preferred Skills & Experience Real estate experience is helpful but not required for the right candidate. New Mexico real estate license is a plus, but not necessary. Comfortable using Microsoft Office/Excel, Canva, Dropbox, CRM systems, and social media. Professional appearance. Strong computer and organizational skills. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation, plus insurance. What Success Looks Like The person in this position will become a trusted right hand to the Realtor. Over time, you will understand the business, clients, schedule, properties, vendors, and personal routines well enough to anticipate what needs to happen next. Success means the Realtor spends less time managing details and more time serving clients and generating business because you are confidently handling the logistics, organization, follow-up, and day-to-day responsibilities behind the scenes. Compensation Competitive compensation based on experience, qualifications, real estate knowledge, and the final scope of responsibilities. This position is ideal for someone looking for a long-term role where they can become an important and trusted part of a successful real estate business.
