Our mission is to provide first-rate resident living experience and a people-first work environment for our team members. Overview We are seeking a dynamic Leasing Specialist to join our team. Leasing Agents at are key members of the office team, they are forefront of the leasing office and promote positive customer service. The ideal candidate will be responsible for facilitating the leasing process for residential properties and perform administrative and managerial duties concerning the property as directed. NYS Real Estate Salesperson License is NOT required for this position. Responsibilities Assist potential tenants in finding suitable rental properties by showcasing available units and conducting property tours. Manage the leasing process from application through move-in, including screening applicants and preparing lease agreements. Maintain accurate records of all leasing activities in property management software. Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and company policies throughout the leasing process. Respond promptly to inquiries via phone, email, or in-person, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills. Collaborate with maintenance staff to address tenant concerns and ensure properties are well-maintained. Stay informed about local rental market trends and laws affecting property leasing. Assist Property Manager in creating and implementing advertisements in media. Assist in preparation and delivery of resident lease renewals. Assist in collection and posting of rent checks. Requirements 1-2 yrs. experience in leasing, sales, administrative, or customer service. Previous Leasing / Property Management experience preferred. Friendly & personable customer service mindset. Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on building positive relationships. Strong phone etiquette and communication skills for effective interaction with prospective tenants. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in an office environment. Understanding of legal aspects related to property leasing, including Fair Housing regulations. Valid driver's license, clean driving record and personal vehicle required.
