We own, lease, and manage a diverse portfolio of industrial, office, flex, retail, and mixed-use properties throughout the Monroe County area. As a small but rapidly expanding company, we offer the kind of hands-on exposure to every side of the real estate business that you simply won't find at a larger firm — leasing, property management, and development, all under one roof. The Opportunity We're looking for a highly motivated Real Estate Associate to join our team and grow with us. This is a true generalist role built for someone early in their career who wants to learn the business from the ground up. You'll get exposure to lease administration, marketing and leasing, day-to-day property management, and real estate development — with direct mentorship and a clear path to take on more responsibility as our portfolio grows. What You'll Do Lease Administration & Records Maintain accurate lease records and tenant files within Rent Manager Enter and update property and lease data in Rent Manager Assist in drafting leases and lease-related correspondence Prepare and distribute monthly rent rolls to ownership for review Marketing & Leasing Support marketing efforts for available spaces across the portfolio (flyers, listings, tours) Help field and follow up on leasing inquiries Assist in answering tenant lease-related questions Property Management Serve as day-to-day property manager for select properties in the portfolio Coordinate and help oversee capital improvement projects Field maintenance requests and coordinate timely, effective repairs Manage relationships with subcontractors and vendors Maintain overall property appearance and condition Coordinate tenant move-in and move-out processes Development & Financial Support Assist in preparing proformas for prospective deals Help complete development and municipal applications Support the controller with financial and accounting tasks as needed General Office Administration Provide day-to-day administrative support to the team Take on additional projects and responsibilities as the company grows What We're Looking For A strong desire to build a career in commercial real estate — prior experience is not required Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities at once Strong problem-solving skills — able to think on your feet and find solutions when issues come up Strong written and verbal communication skills Comfortable interacting with tenants, vendors, and ownership Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel in particular); willingness to learn Rent Manager and other industry software Self-starter who takes initiative and follows through Bachelor's degree preferred but not required — we care more about work ethic and eagerness to learn Why Join Park & Berkeley Properties Direct, hands-on exposure to every facet of commercial real estate — leasing, property management, development, and investment sales Work closely with ownership and leadership, not buried in a large corporate structure Significant room for growth as our portfolio expands — this role can evolve into a senior property management, leasing, or development position How to Apply Interested candidates should send a resume and brief cover letter to Max at with the subject line "Real Estate Associate Application."
