Leasing Agent:
Compensation:
$21-23/hour (based on experience), Full-time, 40 hours/week.
Summary:
The Leasing Agent is responsible for leasing units and providing exceptional customer service to residents while actively assisting the Community Manager with supervision and administrative responsibilities. The Leasing Agent is required to actively promote company's mission, values, and culture, as well as act with the highest level of ethical decision-making at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
Assists the Community Manager with: Leasing units and providing exceptional customer service to residents. Manages communications with residents and administrative responsibilities. Collects rent, processes billing statements, posts payments, and deposits receipts. Creates application packets and enters applicants into the system. Assists with Recertification Interviews. Maintains an organized and professional workspace and positive environment for staff and residents. Shows and leases apartments to prospective residents, processes, approves, or denies rental applications. Conducts new resident orientation and performs move-in and move-out inspections.
Essential Qualifications:
Required to contribute to a harmonious and professional workplace environment. Excellent communication, interpersonal, customer service, organizational, and time management skills required. Must have computer proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to navigate the Internet. Must have reliable transportation. High School Diploma required. Minimum of 1 year of experience in property management or a customer service-related role preferred. Affordable Housing experience preferred. Interested candidates are encouraged to apply!
