Key Responsibilities:
Serve as an attorney and legal advisor for estate planning and estate administration clients Conduct client consultations and provide legal counsel on wills, trusts, probate, and related matters Draft, review, and execute wills, trusts, powers of attorney, healthcare proxies, and related estate documents Handle probate and estate administration matters from intake through resolution Prepare, review, and file legal pleadings and court documents; appear in court when required Ensure compliance with New York laws, court rules, and all filing deadlines Maintain consistent client communication while upholding the firm's mission of care and compassion Work collaboratively with paralegals and legal support staff
Required Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school Admission to practice law in New York State (in good standing) 3-5 years of experience in wills, trusts, estates, probate, or related practice areas Prior law firm experience required Strong legal writing, analytical, and communication skills Ability to manage a caseload independently Bilingual (Spanish) a plus
Pay:
$100,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
