Job Description
Land Agent Holland Land Resources — Ohio (various project locations) Contract • Part-time & Full-time • Remote & Field (project dependent) Holland Land Resources engages experienced Land Agents to run lease, right-of-way, and land acquisition work for energy, utility, infrastructure, and renewable projects across Ohio. Agents handle landowner contact, research, and negotiation from first knock through executed agreement. What you'll do Negotiate leases, easements, right-of-way, and surface agreements with landowners Run courthouse and online research to build and confirm ownership Prepare and present offers within client parameters Draft and process lease and acquisition documents through execution and recording Maintain accurate ownership, contact, and status records Coordinate with title, survey, legal, and project teams Report progress against project milestones What you bring 2+ years as a landman / land agent in energy, utility, or land services (5+ preferred) Your own business entity (LLC) for contracting and invoicing Solid title research and ownership-runsheet skills Strong negotiation and communication skills; able to run several assignments at once Comfortable with Word, Excel, and Outlook Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to Ohio sites Preferred Ohio Oil and Gas Land Professional registration (R.C. 4735.023), or eligibility via AAPL / Michael Late Benedum Chapter (MLBC) membership Degree in business, energy/land management, real estate, or related field AAPL or IRWA coursework or certification Pipeline, transmission, renewable, or oil & gas experience GIS and land-management software familiarity
