We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and customer-focused Leasing Agent to support our day-to-day property operations and drive community growth. Job Summary We are seeking a high-energy, results-driven Leasing Agent to join our property management team. In this role, you will work hand-in-hand with our Leasing Manager to drive property performance, increase and maintain high occupancy levels, and provide outstanding service to our community.
Duties and Responsibilities Lead Conversion:
Respond promptly to incoming inquiries via phone, email, and walk-ins to convert leads into scheduled tours.
Property Tours:
Conduct engaging property tours, confidently overcoming objections and guiding prospective renters seamlessly through the leasing process.
Onboarding Support:
Support resident move-ins and move-outs to ensure a seamless and welcoming experience.
Administrative Excellence:
Maintain accurate records, complete leasing paperwork, and update digital property files.
Marketing & Outreach:
Collaborate with the Leasing Manager on local marketing campaigns, update online rental listings, and conduct regular market surveys of local competitors.
Resident Relations:
Maintain a strong rapport with current residents, address inquiries or complaints efficiently, and assist with community retention events.
Operations Coordination:
Partner with the maintenance team to ensure vacant units are move-in ready and process incoming tenant maintenance requests.
Team Support:
Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall success and occupancy goals of the property.
Skills and Qualifications Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of experience in leasing or property management.
Communication:
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a strong, proven ability to close sales.
Technical Savvy:
Proficiency with basic computer systems; experience with property management software (e.g., Yardi, Entrata, RealPage) is highly preferred.
Schedule Flexibility:
Ability to work weekends and occasional evenings to accommodate prospective residents' schedules.
Legal Knowledge:
Basic understanding of Fair Housing laws and local landlord-tenant regulations is a major plus.
Job Details & Benefits Job Type:
