This position requires excellent customer service and communication skills, the ability to multi-task, and attention to detail. Typical work hours are Tuesday
  • Saturday 8:30am
  • 5:30pm. RealPage OneSite experience preferred. Consider joining a great team in attracting and retaining great residents to our community! Compensation of $15.00

00/hour depending on experience plus monthly bonus program up to $750.00 based upon meeting or exceeding property performance metrics. Open to candidates outside of industry ! JOB SUMMARY
The Leasing Consultant cordially greets visitors, prospective renters, and current residents. Responsible for ensuring the property is marketed effectively. Occupancy will be maintained and increased by the conversion of telephone, email, and walk-in prospects to leases. Must be able to identify and meet resident needs. Ability to effectively communicate to attain high renewal rates and resident satisfaction.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
(Duties may include, but are not limited to)
Implements Marketing Strategies:
Monitor all current advertising for presentation and accuracy including online websites, newspapers, signage, curb appeal, etc. Respond effectively to telephone and email inquiries to generate prospective resident visits to the property. Maintain a call or email ratio of at least 65%. Show and demonstrate apartments and property amenities; utilize sales skills to demonstrate market ready product and availability to close prospects. Maintain a show to lease ratio of at least 50%. Follow up with prospective residents. Monitor telephone, email, and walk-in traffic at property via welcome cards and traffic logs. Walk tour route and vacant units ready to show at the beginning of each day to ensure quality presentation (neat, tidy, attractive, in good repair). In addition, must maintain organized workspace. Conduct weekly market surveys, as requested by management.
Executes Lease Administration:
Obtain lease information and complete lease applications. Conduct required credit, criminal, and housing/employment reference checks. Set up and maintain lease files and legal records. Perform move-in inspections before a scheduled move-in and again with the new resident(s). Review lease and welcome packet with every new resident. Answer any questions that arise. Input daily activity on daily and vacancy reports. Maintain confidentiality and follow key-control policy.
Assists with resident relations:
Prepare and process resident service requests. Facilitate the resolution of resident problems and complaints concerning rent payments, service requests, etc. Aid in the planning of community activities and events. Assist with preparation of promotional flyers and marketing materials. Promotes good public relations with residents, co-workers, and company staff: Always display a professional, friendly, respectful, and courteous attitude towards residents, vendors, guests, and other team members.
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES
Excellent interpersonal skills with good sales and customer service skills. Ability to communicate effectively with current and prospective residents, supervisor, and fellow team members. Detail oriented, organized, and capacity to multi-task. Steady, dependable with ability to work with pressure of deadlines. Self-motivated and self-directed. Ability to work independently, with or without direct supervision.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or equivalent needed. Minimum one year's leasing experience in multi-family properties or customer service. General computer skills required. RealPage OneSite experience preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Standing and walking while giving tours and meeting with potential residents. Must be able to lift to 20 pounds at times. Must be able to traverse property in a variety of weather conditions. Must be able to work assigned schedule.
