Licensed Real Estate Assistant — Full-Time Gary Bars | Licensed in PA, NJ & Turkey | Altoona, PA Gary Bars, an active real estate investor and licensed real estate agent in Altoona, PA, is looking for a motivated full-time Licensed Real Estate Assistant to join and grow with the business. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who is organized, dependable, eager to learn, and comfortable wearing multiple hats. You will work directly with an active real estate investor/agent involved in acquisitions, sales, rentals, management of an owned rental portfolio, and renovation projects. What You'll Do Assist with day-to-day operations of our rental portfolio, including tenant communication, showings, lease paperwork, and move-in/move-out coordination Coordinate maintenance requests, contractors, vendors, and property access Follow up on rent collection and maintain organized property records Help coordinate renovation and construction projects, including contractor scheduling, timelines, material deliveries, and basic site check-ins Assist with real estate transactions, including paperwork, MLS-related tasks, showings, scheduling, and client follow-up Keep contracts, files, property records, and transaction documents organized and up to date Use AI and technology tools to improve scheduling, communication, marketing, listing descriptions, follow-up, and administrative efficiency Help improve and build systems as the real estate portfolio and business continue to grow What We're Looking For Active Pennsylvania Real Estate License required Real estate experience is welcome, but not required — we are willing to train the right person Rental or property management experience is a plus Construction or renovation experience is a plus Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple properties and projects Comfortable learning and using technology Experience with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or similar platforms is a big plus Reliable, detail-oriented, proactive, and a clear communicator Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for local property visits Most importantly: a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and desire to grow Compensation Base salary + commission opportunities Full-time, primarily in-person position serving the Altoona, PA area.
