Job Description

American Destiny Real Estate (ADR) is seeking an Asset Manager to manage and support a portfolio of residential real estate assets throughout the REO lifecycle. This role is responsible for coordinating property assignments, managing relationships with clients, real estate agents, brokers, and vendors, and driving properties toward timely and successful disposition. The Asset Manager will oversee property activity from initial assignment through marketing, contract, and closing while ensuring client requirements, timelines, and service expectations are consistently met. This position will also support the continued growth and management of ADR's nationwide real estate agent and vendor network. Key Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of REO properties from assignment through disposition. Review property information, valuations, market conditions, and other relevant data to support listing price and marketing recommendations. Monitor listed properties and proactively address activity, pricing, marketing, or other factors impacting timely disposition. Review properties regularly and recommend price adjustments or changes in marketing strategy when appropriate. Negotiate contracts, sales prices, terms, agreements, and closing timelines with real estate agents and brokers. Assign properties to qualified and approved real estate agents nationwide. Ensure client property assignments and work orders are managed accurately and within required timelines. Monitor properties through various stages of the REO lifecycle, including eviction, redemption, sales confirmation, listing, contract, and closing. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, keeping them informed of property progress, risks, and outstanding items. Develop and maintain relationships with real estate agents, brokers, and third-party vendors. Recruit qualified agents and vendors to expand ADR's nationwide network and strengthen coverage in areas of need. Communicate client requirements, expectations, and operational needs to agents and vendors. Coordinate property valuations, listing documentation, engagement agreements, referral agreements, and other required documentation. Ensure required initial contacts, property updates, and milestones are completed timely and accurately. Follow up on referral fees and other outstanding property or vendor-related items. Maintain accurate and current property information within ADR and client systems. Identify potential delays, service issues, or risks and proactively work toward resolution. Perform additional asset management and operational responsibilities based on business and client needs. Qualifications & Skills REO, real estate, default servicing, asset management, or related industry experience preferred. Prior experience managing REO properties or working within the default real estate lifecycle is strongly preferred. Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-management skills. Excellent organizational and time-management abilities. Ability to independently manage multiple properties, deadlines, and competing priorities. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Ability to identify issues and potential risks and take appropriate action. Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. Excellent customer service and professional communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with RES.NET or similar real estate/default servicing platforms preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required. Position Overview This is a hands-on asset management role for someone who is comfortable balancing property management, client service, real estate agent and vendor relationships, and REO disposition activities . The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, responsive, and able to take ownership of a portfolio while keeping properties moving efficiently from assignment through closing.
