Position OverviewWe are seeking a motivated Real Estate Associate to support and manage a broad range of commercial and residential real estate matters. The role involves coordinating transactions, assisting with lending and leasing matters, collaborating with attorneys and corporate teams, and supporting due diligence, closings, and mergers and acquisitions-related real estate work. The ideal candidate brings strong transactional experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work across municipal, corporate, and client-facing contexts.

Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with drafting, reviewing, and negotiating real estate documents including purchase and sale agreements, leases, loan documents, and closing paperwork.

Manage due diligence processes for property acquisitions and dispositions, including title, survey, environmental, and municipal compliance reviews.

Support financing and lending transactions by preparing documents, coordinating with lenders, and tracking conditions precedent to closing.

Coordinate and participate in closings and post-closing matters, ensuring accurate recording, disbursements, and file documentation.

Work closely with attorneys, corporate clients, brokers, lenders, and municipal authorities to facilitate smooth transaction flow and resolve issues.

Conduct legal and market research related to zoning, land use, municipal regulations, and property title matters.

Assist with real estate aspects of mergers and acquisitions, including portfolio reviews, asset transfers, and lease assignments.

Maintain accurate transaction files, client updates, and internal matter management systems; prepare status reports and client billing support.

Support leasing portfolio management, renewals, amendments, and rent review processes for both commercial and residential properties.

Contribute to business development efforts by preparing pitch materials, deal summaries, and participating in client meetings as needed.

QualificationsJ.D. with PA bar admission, and in good standing.2+ years of experience in real estate transactions, commercial leasing, lending, or corporate real estate matters with a law firm or in-house counsel.

Demonstrated knowledge of commercial and residential real estate transactions, leasing, lending, municipal regulations, and title matters.

Experience supporting mergers and acquisitions involving real property or real estate portfolios preferred.

Strong drafting, negotiation, and document-management skills; attention to detail in transaction execution and closings.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with experience collaborating with attorneys, corporate clients, brokers, and municipal officials.

Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines, prioritize tasks, and work both independently and as part of a team.

Strong analytical and research skills, including experience with land use, zoning, and municipal code review.
