Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Leasing Associate to join our property management team. In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for prospective residents, guiding them through the leasing process with enthusiasm and professionalism. Your expertise will help ensure a seamless leasing experience while maintaining compliance with Fair Housing regulations and local laws. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your sales, customer service, and administrative skills within a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Responsibilities Engage with prospective tenants via phone, email, and in-person visits to showcase available properties and answer inquiries effectively. Conduct property tours, highlighting key features and benefits to upsell units and increase occupancy rates. Manage leasing documentation, including contracts, applications, and legal administrative paperwork and ensuring accuracy. Utilize property management software such as Buildium to input data, track leads, and maintain organized records of tenant interactions. Communicate tenant needs related to property maintenance or facilities management. Negotiate lease terms with prospective tenants while adhering to Fair Housing regulations and legal standards. Build strong customer relationships through excellent phone etiquette, conflict management skills, and proactive follow-up to maximize tenant satisfaction and retention. Qualifications Preferred experience in property leasing, property management, or real estate administrative roles. Familiarity with Google Suite and/or Buildium software. Strong customer service skills combined with effective negotiation abilities. Office experience including data entry, filing, phone etiquette, and administrative support functions. Ability to handle conflict professionally while maintaining positive relationships with tenants and team members. Experience in sales or upselling techniques to promote available units effectively. Pay:
$13.00 - $14.00 per hour
