Job Description
Most new agents fail for one of two reasons: nobody gave them anything to work, or nobody showed them what to do on a Tuesday morning. We built the company around fixing both. Foraker Realty Co. is a family-owned brokerage at 135 E State St in Kennett Square. Started 2021 with five agents, now 75. A lot of them started exactly where you're standing. You will not pay us a monthly fee. Not a desk fee, not a tech fee, not a franchise fee. New agents elsewhere are often $150
- 400 in the hole every month before they've made a dollar. That's the wrong way to start. What you get from day one:
- Leads to actually work — 30,000 to 50,000 company contacts pooled into one database every agent can search. No phone book, no buying your own leads in month one.
- An inside sales agent who qualifies seller leads and books the appointment, so you walk into a real conversation.
- A mentor and a written 30-60-90 day plan. Daily activity targets. You'll know what you're doing this week, not just this year.
- Weekly in-office training — marketing on a budget, open houses that actually produce, converting renters into buyers, listing presentations. Recorded if you can't make it live.
- $250 photo and video from our in-house photographer, so your first listing looks like a top producer's listing.
- A transaction coordinator so your first deal doesn't fall apart on a detail nobody told you about.
- Software built in-house — CRM, e-sign, transaction tracking, automated listing marketing.
Licensing:
You need a Pennsylvania salesperson license or you need to be enrolled in a licensing course now. Still deciding? Apply anyway — we'll tell you what it costs and how long it takes, at no charge and with no pressure. Read this part before you apply. This is a 1099 independent contractor role, commission only. No salary, no draw, no guaranteed paycheck. Your first closing is realistically 60-90 days out and you need a financial runway to get there. Most people who quit real estate quit in month four. We'd rather lose you at the application than watch that happen. If that's still a yes, the application takes about five minutes. Or call 302-420-4616 and ask about the mentor program.Pay:
$20,000.00- $85,000.
