Job Description

Role Description S&S Properties Investment is looking for an energetic and people-driven Leasing Consultant to join our team in Pottstown, PA. As the face of our properties, you will be responsible for attracting and securing qualified residents by delivering outstanding customer experiences from the very first inquiry through move-in. Key responsibilities Greet and assist prospective residents in person, by phone, and via email — responding promptly and professionally to all leasing inquiries Conduct engaging property tours, highlighting unit features, community amenities, and the surrounding Harrisburg neighborhood Convert leads into signed leases by building rapport, understanding prospective residents' needs, and guiding them confidently through the decision-making process Process rental applications, verify documentation, and coordinate background and credit screenings in accordance with Fair Housing laws and company policies Prepare and execute lease agreements accurately, ensuring all required documents are completed and properly filed Follow up consistently with prospective residents through the leasing pipeline — from initial inquiry to application to move-in day Assist in maintaining and updating online listings, marketing materials, and social media presence to drive traffic and maximize occupancy Conduct move-in orientations and unit walkthroughs to ensure new residents feel welcomed and informed from day one Track leasing activity, traffic reports, and lead sources using property management software; report weekly leasing metrics to management Qualifications Prior leasing, sales, retail, or customer service experience strongly preferred Natural ability to connect with people and a genuine passion for helping others Excellent verbal and written communication skills Basic knowledge of Fair Housing laws and Pennsylvania landlord-tenant regulations (or willingness to learn) Comfortable with property management software and general computer skills Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required What We Offer Competitive base pay plus leasing commissions and bonuses Incentive pay tied to occupancy goals and lease-up performance Career advancement opportunities into property management Hands-on training and mentorship from experienced property professionals Paid time off and benefits package Supportive, team-oriented work culture

$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
